Debbie Ireland is a courageous catalyst for change and a respected leader in the online collaboration and digital workplace space. As CEO and founder of DWResults, New Zealand’s premier Microsoft 365 training provider, she works with leaders across Asia Pacific on strategy, governance, digital transformation, AI readiness, and organisational change.
Debbie is known for her people-first approach to technology. She regularly presents on Microsoft 365 topics, highlighting the human aspects of change and the proven strategies that help people engage with new tools. Her focus is helping organisations understand the business capability and productivity gains that Microsoft 365 can provide — always starting with the why, supported by the what and the how.
Her latest passion is exploring what it means to stay human in an AI-powered world. The Bridge Generation dives into this rapidly evolving space, helping leaders navigate the tension between innovation and humanity.
Debbie also writes and speaks about work-life balance (and the myths surrounding it) and her own self-development transformation journey. Her book “Work-Life Balance My Arse!” was released in August 2020.
Born and raised in Rotorua with her two siblings, Debbie discovered her love of exploration early. At 17 she spent a year travelling the USA, returning to New Zealand to study Business in Auckland. Her career has taken many turns — multiple industries, extensive travel, and countless life experiences — all of which shaped her perspective. When her daughter Sophie arrived, everything shifted again.
In 2007, Debbie founded Digital Workplace Results Ltd (formerly ShareThePoint Ltd), specialising in Microsoft 365 strategy, implementation, and training. She also organises the annual Digital Workplace Conferences in New Zealand and Australia.
Debbie has an extensive project management and solutions background. She was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for nine years and joined the Microsoft Regional Director Program in 2020.
Now based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, Debbie has called Tauranga home for the past 22 years.
